Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information CryptoScoopDaily ("we," "us") collects, why, and the choices and rights you have. In short: we collect as little as possible, our tools run in your browser, and we never ask for your crypto secrets. If you have any questions, contact us through our contact page.

Information we collect

We collect only what we need:

We never ask for, and you should never enter, seed phrases, private keys, wallet or exchange passwords, or 2FA codes.

Why we use it, and our legal bases

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following lawful bases:

Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing.

Cookies and similar technologies

We keep cookie use minimal. Essential cookies needed to deliver the site may be set without consent. Non-essential cookies — such as analytics or those set by advertising and embedded third-party content — are only used with your consent where required by law (for example, for visitors in the EU and UK), which you can give or decline through our cookie notice and change at any time in your browser settings.

Affiliate links and advertising

Some pages contain affiliate links or labeled advertisements. When you click an affiliate link or interact with an ad, the destination site or ad provider may set its own cookies and collect data under its own privacy policy, which we don't control. See our affiliate disclosure and advertising policy.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising in exchange for value. We use a small number of service providers — such as hosting, content delivery, analytics, and (for the contact form) a form-delivery provider — that process limited data on our behalf to operate the site.

Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CPRA, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. We honor opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control (GPC), where applicable. To make a request, use our contact page.

Your rights (GDPR / UK GDPR)

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our processing of your personal information, and to data portability. You also have the right to withdraw consent and the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office). Because our tools are designed not to collect personal data, we typically hold very little. To make a request, contact us through our contact page.

International data transfers

We operate from, and use service providers based in, the United States and other countries. If you access the site from outside those countries — including the EU/EEA or UK — your information may be transferred to and processed in a country with different data-protection laws. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected. Contact-form messages are kept while we handle your query and for a reasonable period afterward; analytics data is retained in aggregate. We delete or anonymize information when it is no longer needed, unless we must keep it to meet a legal obligation.

Children

This site is intended for adults and is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new date below.
